Dussehra is the festival, which marks the victory of truth over evil. It is the festival of hope. The festive spirit begins nine days in advance, as people get devotional and worship Maa Durga for nine days, and on the tenth day Dussehra is celebrated. Though, there are a lot of tales behind it celebrations, but all culminate to mark the victory of goodness over evil. People irrespective of their caste and creed celebrate this festival with utmost joy and pleasure across the country.

Burn the Ravana inside you

It is a day of victory-when Lord Rama killed Ravana and a day when Maa Durga killed demon Mahisasura. To celebrate the occasion every year we burn statues of Ravana, but have you ever thought about the Ravana inside you? Today we have Smartphones, expensive accessories, luxurious cars, but we don’t have peace of mind, and it is just because of the Ravana inside us that is of greed, jealousy, anger or corruption, which is present inside us.

In today’s world morals of Lord Rama are being overlooked and unconsciously we are making Ravana, the protagonist of the story an idol of our life.

No matter how much effigy of Ravana we burn every year, but we will never be at peace until we eradicate him from us.

Introspection is important

As a human being each one of us have a deva and a demon inside us. And it is our choice whom we want inside us. We all know good things happens to good people and bad things to bad people, but then also for our profit we do wrong things. But this Dussehra do something different, kill the Ravana inside you – hold the vision of positivity and trust the process.

In the era of show off society, we have forget our near and dear ones. Most of do not stay with our parents, so this Dussehra make them feel special spend time with them, and with your family and friends.
