Advocates who belong to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and are practicing in Hyderabad high court have decided to boycott work at the high court on Friday.
The decision of the Andhra Pradesh High Court Advocates Association ,who has resolved to abstain from work reasons being to express their solidarity to further boycott a call given by various districts bar associations in AP which demanded special category status for AP.
C Nageswara Rao, the president of this association, has said that the majority of advocates of AP are of the opinion that the NDA government ruling at the Centre has been denying the people of AP their due that too in an unethical manner.
Telangana & Andhra Pradesh lawyers will boycott HC today
In this regard, the Telangana High Court Advocates Association has resolved to further boycott high court on Friday while protesting against the action of the court in issuing the contempt proceedings against 13 advocates.
These advocates had allegedly indulged in a high-handed behavior during the recent agitation of the advocates which was held to demand a separate high court for Telangana. Gandra Mohan Rao, the president of the association, mentioned that further all bar associations in the states would also boycott the lower courts in the state.
