Asadudddin Owaisi the president of AIMIM said that he is a loyal Indian and he doesn’t need any certificate of nationalism and patriotism from anyone.
Owaisi, who was in Lucknow on a brief stopover said that, “we have given blood to this nation and we do not need any certification from anyone and the leader further added that his party was not Muslims but of Indians.”
Notably, Owaisi was recently showed black flags by the BJP workers for his controversial statement that he would not say Bharat Mata Ki Jai, even if a knife would be put to his throat.
He also took a dig at BJP in indirectly by saying they were not even around the corner during the freedom struggle from the British.
