Ola on Saturday launched the Ola share, a social ride- sharing platform for the Chennai users. The move will be very effective for the commuters going at the same route.
The users would be able to share their rides with other users from social groups they are part of. This would not only encourage easy commute but also help to reduce the pollution and traffic of the city.
In fact, users will be benefitted with 50 percent discount on Ola cab ride from next month, the company said.
The company launched its cab services in 2013 and Chennai has become the second fastest growing market for Ola after Bengaluru.
