As a part of his visit, Modi is focusing on promoting the ‘Assistance to Disabled Persons’ Scheme (ADIP) of the Government of India, and in this context, will hand out hearing aids, crutches, wheelchairs and hand driven tricycles to more than 8 thousand beneficiaries.

The function will be held at the Diesel Locomitive Works in Varanasi, where he is also expected to flag off the new ‘Mahamaya Express’, commemorating Benaras Hindu University (BHU) founder – Madan Mohan Malviya.
