MJ Akbar: Current situation in Kashmir is not permanent

According to Minister of State for External Affairs, MJ Akbar the current atmosphere in Kashmir is not permanent and this problem is “existential” as he also warned Pakistan against playing the game of terrorism.

While intervening a discussion in Lok Sabha on the current unrest in Kashmir, the Minister said that, today’s atmosphere is not a permanent one.

This is some kind of seasonal wind and there could be storm also, but this is not the full truth, the truth is that Kashmir’s Kashmiriyat and its humanity.

He also stated that the problem in Kashmir is an existential one, according to him this fight is not about geography but about the ideology and there is “not war longer” to this one.

He accepted the fact that there would be differences in politics, but when it comes to national interest and the valley Kashmir, we all should be one.

He also warned Pakistan for playing the game of terrorism in India, as India can handle the situation but Pakistan could never do.
