Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has imposed a complete ban on the liquor in the state including the foreign ones. It was supposed to be ban after six months but today after the cabinet meeting, the minister imposed a complete ban on alcohol.
Now no alcohol could be legally consumed in all Bihar including bars and restaurants. Notably, on Friday the government had announced ban on country made liquor as the first phase of ban and promised for complete prohibition within six months.
Now the government has imposed it from today only and in fact to ensure the implementation of the new rule, police has set up a control room in Patna.
