The Pathankot counter attack was a massive strength of the Indian Army. It showed people the valour and commitment of the Army.
The Indian Army Chief – General Dalbir Singh also praised the army for its work. He stated in a conference- “I assure nation that your Army is highly motivated and ready to respond to any threats to our national security. It was a good operation.
To ensure less casualties we had to take time to complete operation.”
He also praised the deployment of NSG forces. His statement about India being ready and prepared to face any threat and manage it, comes as a huge relief and a sense of pride.
