Man Married To A Computer Game Character
Ever heard of ‘fictosexual?’ As per the English dictionary, a fictosexual is someone who is attracted to a fictional character. In November 2009, a Japanese man, who prefers to use his online moniker SAL9000, married a computer game character named Nene Anegasaki, from the Nintendo DS virtual dating game Love Plus. He broadcasted the wedding ceremony live on Japan’s version of the video-sharing website Youtube. He also vowed to hold, for better and for worse, even if another version of the game is released.
Marrying To A Synthetic Doll
A man named Davecat, the online pseudonym he lives by, married a synthetic doll. He calls her Sidore Kuroneko and keeps a mistress, Elena Vostrikova, to keep Sidore company while he is not home. Davecat met Sidore Kuroneko at a goth club in 2000. He saved up for a year and a half to buy her online for $6,000 each from Abyss Creations, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of RealDolls. Davecat considers himself an activist for synthetic love and the rights of synthetic humans. He’s active online, with an iDollator blog, “Shouting to hear the echoes.”
Woman Married To A Snake
Bimbala Das, a woman from Atala village near the Orissa state capital Bhubaneswar, reportedly fell in love and married a snake. Their wedding was attended by 2,000 guests, which was followed by the Hindu marriage rituals. However, the snake did not come out of the ant hill where it lives, a brass replica of a serpent was kept by the side of the woman instead. The villagers welcomed Bimbala’s decision saying the marriage will bring good fortune to the village. On being asked about her decision, Bimbala’s mother said “We had no money to treat her. Then she started offering milk to the snake, she was cured. That made her fall in love,” the local OTV channel quoted.
The Woman Who Married The Berlin Wall
Eklöf-Berliner-Mauer, a Swedish woman, fell in love with the Berlin wall when she saw it on television when she was 7. She has been married to the Berlin WALL for over 40 years now! Eija has even got the surname Berliner-Mauer, which means Berlin Wall in German. After the wall was demolished in 1989, it left Eija mortified and since then she has never gone to Berlin.

Woman Married To A Dolphin
Sharon Tendler, a British woman, married a Dolphin named Cindy in 2015. The ceremony was held at Dolphin Reef in the southern Israeli port of Eilat, Tendler. Sharon apparently became the world’s first person to “marry” a dolphin. Not only this, she dressed in a white dress, and bent down on one knee to give the dolphin a kiss and called it the “love of her life.” However, the dolphin died in June 2021, leaving Sharon mourning in the grief of the loss of the love of her life. She vowed she will never remarry and described herself as a ‘one dolphin woman’.

California resident Scott Perry decided to marry his beloved ‘cat – Olivia Le Chat’ whom he calls his ‘love at first sight.’ Perry decided to marry Olivia and invited everyone who loves animals. Along with marrying the ‘true love,’ the other reason Perry is marrying Olivia is having their not-legally-binding wedding to raise funds for ‘Best Friends Animal Society Los Angeles;, the animal shelter that brought them together.

A 24-year-old girl – Kshama Bindu from Gujrat made some fresh headlines as she announced to perform India’s first Sologamy last month. Bindu’s wedding was India’s first-ever solo wedding. Aaron, who is an artist-director, drove 365 kilometres from Los Angeles to Las Vegas to take part in a typical Las Vegas wedding. The groom, Aaron Chervenak, wore a tux, whereas the bride wore a protective case.
