For the very first time, Indian fans will witness the mischievous and charming Crayon Shin-chan on the big screen. As the first-ever Crayon Shin-chan movie to be released in India, Crayon Shin-chan: Our Dinosaur Diary became a landmark for the franchise on May 9, 2025. The movie, distributed by PVR INOX Pictures, opens in Japan with English subtitles as well as dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, ensuring a wider reach in public eyes in India.

The Jurassic Adventure Begins

Directed by Shinobu Sasaki, this film takes us to the futuristic theme park in Tokyo, the Dino’s island, where dinosaurs have come to life! The story takes us with Shinnosuke (Shin-chan) and his family befriending a baby dinosaur, Nana, through summer adventures evaporating with thrill. For a whole secret motive, some mysterious organization wants Nana, and chaos ensues throughout Tokyo and Kasukabe when dinosaurs escape. With Shin-chan, his loyal Shiro, and the Kasukabe Guard, this is one daring mission to save Nana.

Record-Breaking Smash Hit in Japan

Released in Japan on August 9, 2024, Our Dinosaur Diary smashed records as the highest-grossing film in the Crayon Shin-chan franchise, raking in an incredible 2.69 billion yen! It had everything: hilarious escapades, tender moments, and some dinosaur-encountering thrill, for all ages to enjoy.

A Nostalgic Film with New Happenings

Appealing to both the long-time devotees and the first-time watchers, the film blends classic Shin-chan humor with a thrilling story.
