Sharda University Student’s Suicide Note Accuses Two Professors of Harassment
On Friday night a second-year student at Sharda University committed suicide by hanging herself in the dorm room. A suicide note accusing two university faculty members of harassment was found leading to their arrest in connection with the case.
Immediate Police Response
The police claim that after learning of the incident inside Sharda University a team from the Knowledge Park police station hurried to the scene.
Confirmation of Death
She was taken to the hospital immediately where it was determined that she had died. For a post-mortem her body was sent. She was a second-year BDS student and a resident of Gurugram according to the investigations findings a senior officer stated.
Evidence and Allegations from the Suicide Note
The crime scene was examined by police officers and the forensic team. She claimed that two university faculty members had subjected her to mental harassment and humiliation in a suicide note that was found in her possession according to another senior official.
Direct Accusation by the Student
The PCP and Dental Material instructors are responsible if I pass away. My demise was caused by Shariq Maam and Mahinder Sir. I want them to be imprisoned. They tormented me in my head.
I was humiliated by them. They have been causing me stress for a while. I want the same thing to happen to them. I apologize. I can no longer live this way. No, I can’t the note read.

Legal Action Taken
Two named accused were taken into custody after a case was filed against university staff under the appropriate sections based on the student’s family’s complaint.
University and Police Response
Our officers used dialogue to assuage the students family’s and the university’s students’ resentment of the Sharda University administration. At the location peace and order have been established. We are taking additional legal action said Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Sudhir Kumar.
