Indian railways operate ‘Trishul’ by Clubbing 3 goods train

For the 1st time, Indian Railways operated Trishul, a long-haul trail formed by clubbing together 3 goods trains as one.

This train was formed at Vijayawada and operated as a single train up to Duvvada. It is the last station bordering South Central Railways Jurisdiction.

Forming a volunteer team SAAPH (Sustainable Alternatives & Awareness against single-use Plastics & Household waste), they worked to bring about change & awareness in their community.

The members have also organized small-scale street plays, composting projects, webinars, and workshops on sustainable menstruation and eco-bricks.

India now has 10 gold, 9 silver, and 4 bronze medals in its basket.

Wrestler Anshu Malik becomes 1st Indian Woman to win World Championship Silver

Anshu Malik won the silver medal in the 57kg category Wrestling World Championships. She lost to 2016 Olympic Champion Helen Lousie Maroulis in the finals.

In another bout, Sarita Mor grabbed the maiden medal on the big stage by winning the 59kg bronze.

 World’s highest EV charging station gets installed in Ladakh

On the Manali-Leh Ladakh route, 18 EV charging stations are being installed and 15 of them are 10000 feet- 14000 feet above mean sea level.

The company called Shuchi Anant Virya installed these charging stations. These installed chargers are a mix of Type-I and type II AC chargers. Two to four-wheelers users can charge their vehicles in these stations.

14-year-old Naamya Kapoor becomes youngest Indian Shooter to win an International Medal

A 14-year-old Indian girl, shooter Naamya Kapoor made her way to the gold medal ahead of her celebrated compatriot Manu Bhaker in the Women’s 25m pistol event of the ISSF Junior World Championship. She has also become the youngest Indian shooter to win an international medal.

India has won 7 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze for a total haul of 16 medals in the championship and is leading the standings.
