Tuberculosis is a disease caused by a bacterium called mycobacterium tuberculosis. Also it is considered as an epidemic, affecting approximately one-third of the world’s population.

Kapalbhati Pranayama: Kapalbhati Pranayama is a type of breathing exercise that helps you rid of various ailments over a period of time. “Kapal” means skull and “Bhati” means shine or illuminate. Kapalabhati is done in a sitting posture. Focus on “exhaling”. Inhale as normal. Exhale and simultaneously contract the abdomen muscles with each exhalation.


Kapalbhati clears the respiratory passages, minimizing risks of infections and allergies in the respiratory system. With the forceful breaths of kapalbhati, the allergens and the infectious materials in the lungs and the respiratory passages are blown away and removed from the body.


Bhastrika pranayama: Bhastrika Pranayama is one of the most important pranayams. It refreshes body and mind. It has a regenerating and rejuvenating influence upon the whole body and improves memory. Circulation is stimulated. The increased blood supply to the head improves eyesight and hearing. The lungs are strengthened and it is beneficial for bronchitis, as the respiratory system is quickly and deeply purified.
