Why is it okay to be “single” this Valentine’s Day

Are you amongst the people who need to be with someone in Valentine’s Day? Do you feel utterly lonely when there is no one to share this day with?

Source

Well, let me give you some reasons to not feel that way and realise that it is completely normal to be not in a relationship on this “day of love”:

1. You don’t need to be with someone because that is not the only thing what defines you.

2. Valentine’s Day is not just for lovers. It’s for anyone you care about; be it your friends, family, pet, ANYONE.

3. Learn to love yourself. Spend time with yourself, understand that sometimes solitude is the best thing ever.

4. And there is the age old saying, not everyone has Cancer on World Caner Day, so quit being sad over the fact that you do not have a boyfriend or a girlfriend on Valentine’s Day.
