The Wait grows longer, CBSE Class 12 Results on Hold!

Delhi High Court has asked CBSE to continue the moderation policy

The Delhi High Court had recently asked CBSE board to continue the moderation policy, which the board had scrapped last month. Notably, moderation policy allows grace marks for difficult questions in class 12 examinations. There were speculations that the results would be declared on 24th May but now High Court has asked the board to continue the moderation policy. As a result, the class 12 results are on hold.

Notably, the interim relief has been granted by the Delhi High Court after a parent filed a PIL opposing the move. The moderation policy, which was scrapped by the Central Board of Secondary Education last month, faced a lot of criticism from the parents whose children took class 12 examinations this year.
