SC may consider Centre’s plea of holding NEET in six regional languages

According to reports, Supreme Court may consider centre’s plea over holding NEET exams in 6 regional languages.

The central government has submitted plea to hold the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test in Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Assamese, Bengali , Gujarati, besides English and Hindi.

A bench of Supreme Court comprising of Anil Dave and Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel said that they will consult Justice Shiva Kirti Singh to decide whether phase two NEET should be held in 6 regional languages or not.

Notably, the second phase of NEET exams for admission is scheduled on July 24th .
