Bollywood is becoming quite experimental about the concepts in their movies. Makers have started to take up topics which are quite controversial and not usually spoken about in open. Recently Hunterr and NH10 gained quite good reviews at the box-office in spite of the fact that one of it spoke about sex-drive and the other about the customs being followed in the regions far away from the cities. Yet again one of such topics, which is a myth or should we call it unrevealed reality is about the Bollywood world itself which has been tackled in this upcoming flick- ‘Sabki Bajegi Band’.
Directed and Produced by Anirudh Chawla, this movie is one of its kinds because it shows the true face of the Page 3 celebrities. Based on true events but enacted by actors, the movie exposes a lot about the world of limelight. The story starts in a party wherein a lot of celebrities are invited; they do not have any information about the hidden cameras at each and every place and hence, their conversations, relationships and so on gets caught on the camera.
The movie stars- Sumeet Vyas as Amit, Swara Bhaskar as Jay, Alekh Sangal as Harsh, Shaurya Chauhan as Savvy, Amol Parasher as Sid, Aman Verma as Karan, Jhanvi Desai as Pallavi, Samarth Shandilya as DK, Nisha Lalwani as Vasna and Raj Kumar Yadav as Randy. Where on one hand a lot of directors fear to take chances and move out of their comfort levels, Bollywood is welcoming fresh minds in the arena of film-making wherein a lot of experiments are being taken up. The movie is all set to release on 1st May 2015.
