Indian Shuttler P.V Sindhu scored a historic victory over top seed Ji Hyun Sung of Korea and made her entry into the final of women’s singles of the USD 120,000 Malaysia Masters Grand Prix gold badminton tournament.
The player beat her world’s number eight opponent, Ji Hyun Sung by 21-19 12-21 21-10 in the semifinal match that lasted for one hour and nine minutes.
Sindhu had already won the grand prix event earlier in 2013 also and this will be her fifth grand prix event.
Her opponent tried her best to win the match but Sindhu managed to hold on to her momentum till the end and managed to make her entry in the final.
