According to a report, Parliament on Monday reported that over 30 complaints were received against advertisement of yoga guru Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved limited between April 2015 and July 2016.

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Rathore told that there were total 33 complaints received during last one year against Patanjali for self regulation of advertising content as per the findings of Consumer Complaints Council.
Notably, the department of consumers affairs has informed that 17 out of 21 advertisements have violated the rules of advertising standards.
