Olympic Champion Andy Murray to seek Zika virus advice

Andy Murray is up on confirming the medical status on the Zika virus and has proper expert guidance on the same before travelling to Rio for the Olympics.

Defending champion, Andy Murray, The 29-year-old Britisher said that the reports influenced while saying it was the position in which he should be resting rather playing (“unethical”) for the summer Olympics and Paralympics to go ahead on raising the flag of British.

“I will speak to a couple of doctors about it and see what their advice is,” “I plan on playing for sure but don’t know the exact situation there now.” he said.

He is leaving no risks to weaken his grab over trophy and said “I need to get a little bit more information first before making a decision.”

The International Olympic Committee while considering the situations has said it sees no reason to delay or move the Games because of the mosquito-borne virus, which is linked to serious birth defects.

The 29-year-old Serb added: “For the moment I am planning to play. Nothing is changing. But let’s see what happens.”

The virus began in Brazil one year ago, but now more than 60 countries and territories are suffering continuing transmission of Zika.
