KOD: Spellbinding performance by Lucky Ali
Kingdom of Dreams did justice to its name, when last evening it organised a performance by none other than the king of romantic ballads, Lucky Ali giving the audience a goose bump experience. The amazing evening commenced with Ashish Chauhan and Gurdeep Mehndi, whose Sufiana Kalaam and Sufi numbers took the audience to into trance. Not only this, KOD has much more to make people believe that they were not dreaming, after these soulful performances by Ashish Chauhan and Gurdeep Mehndi, Coke studio’s celebrated artist Kutle Khan and Dhruv Sufi spread romance in the hearts of the audience making them swing to their plaintive songs and hypnotic beats. Kutle Khan rendered the evening with fervour and love for his special brand of music while the gypsy dancer swirling to his beats brought alive the magic of the tribal form.
The unbelievable moment of the evening was when the music maestro Lucky Ali stunned the audience with his velvety voice and the listeners could not stop from swaying to his music and joined in his melody by singing along. The unplugged version of O Sanam weaved a magical web over the audience making them glad to be a part of such an epic moment.

Though the audience wanted more and more of Lucky Ali’s soulful voice, they still bid adieu to him, giving him an experience to remember and taking back the same. Lucky Ali before leaving the stage gave message on the importance of a healthy heart. The Direct Dil Se Concert is the second edition in the series hosted on the occasion of the World Heart Day to raise awareness of healthy practices for a healthy heart.
