Two wheeler taxies have been plying the roads of Goa since decades. Finally seeing the merit of two wheelers, in light of the increased traffic in cities like Gurgaon.
Taking cue from Goa, Haryana Government has decided to implement the ‘baxi’ scheme (bike taxi) on a limited scale in Gurgaon. These will operate on contract in the high traffic areas of the city.
Once successful, the model will be replicated in other areas of Gurgaon, and possibly the entire state.
