Earthquake hits North and East India


Earthquake measuring 7.4 richter scale, with epicenter in Nepal (60km away from Kathmandu), hits North and East India, yet again.


It lasted for one minute and thirty seconds with 18 km of depth although exact figures are yet to be reported.


Tremors were felt across Delhi, U.P and Bihar. People ran out from their houses and offices into open areas.


Tremors were felt in Odisha and West Bengal too. Tremors were also felt in some parts of Afganisthan.


“For as long as good ten seconds I felt dizzy and it took me moments to realize there was an earthquake again!” says a resident of Group housing society, South Extension. The current scenario regarding after affects of the earthquake have not been reported yet.
