The Delhi government has asked all private school authorities in national capital to ensure that their students do not bunk classes and can also consider action against teachers, whose pupils would be found playing truants.
As per reports, state government has given 14 suggestions, which ranges from increasing height of boundary walls and installing CCTV cameras to taking attendance of the students at least twice a day to keep a regular check on their attendance.
The Directorate of Education in letter to school principals that students do not realize that bunking classes are causing loss to their studies and endangering their own lives as well.
