According to a US survey, the result of which have been published on US News Education’s website, the Delhi University is just on the ninth number.
The site has ranked the universities by taking “into account schools’ research performance, as well as their ratings by members of the academic community around the world and in Asia.”
The Delhi University comes ninth in the list, whereas Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) comes sixth. Following Delhi University on the list at the 10th position is BHU (Banaras Hindu University).
Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore has secured the first position followed by Punjab University.
