Mumbai police has recently identified 16 dangerous selfie spots across the Indian city after a man drowned trying to save a girl, who fell in to the sea while taking a selfie.
Deputy Commissioner, Dhananjay Kulkarni said that the spots include major tourist attractions of Goregaon Chowpatty beach and Marine Drive promenade as well as the site, where an 18 year old young girl slipped last week.
According to Kulkarni, they identified 16 dangerous selfie spots and have written to the municipal corporation to put warning signs. Police patrolling has selected the areas h to warn people against taking selfies.
