Stuart Broad was the star of the day, finishing with figures of 8/15 and completing 300 test wickets.
In reply, England finished the day with 274 on the board and now holds a strong position to win the test and the Ashes Series.
It would be sweet revenge for England, after their 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Australia last year.
