‘No Proof of Life’: Imran Khan’s Son Raises Alarm As Death Rumours Intensify

Imran Khan’s son Kasim raises alarm amid Imran Khan death rumours, claiming no proof of life and severe isolation for 6 weeks. International appeal issued.

‘No Proof of Life’: Imran Khan’s Son Issues Urgent Appeal Amid Imran Khan Death Rumours and Concerns Over Solitary Confinement

Amid growing fear and widespread Imran Khan death rumours circulating online, former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s son Kasim has issued a powerful public appeal demanding proof of life and immediate intervention. The statement, shared on social media, has triggered shock and global concern as questions continue to grow around Khan’s health and safety. Kasim revealed that his father, imprisoned since August 2023, has been held in extreme isolation for weeks, with no communication allowed and no verified updates regarding his condition.

Solitary Confinement and Zero Transparency

In his emotional message, Kasim stated that Imran Khan has now been under arrest for 845 days, and for the past six weeks has been confined in what he described as a “death cell.” He emphasised that there has been absolutely no transparency around his father’s wellbeing. According to him, all attempts for family access have been blocked despite clear judicial orders permitting visits. He wrote that Khan’s sisters were repeatedly denied permission to meet him, even though courts had granted approval. The situation, he said, had evolved into a “severe escalation” over the past month and a half.

No Contact, No Meetings, No Proof of Life

Kasim stressed that the former premier has been completely cut off from the outside world, raising horrifying uncertainty about his status. He revealed that there have been no phone calls, no meetings, and no contact with any family members. “Me and my brother have had no communication with our father,” he wrote, explaining the emotional and psychological toll the blackout has caused. He warned that the silence surrounding Khan’s condition appears to be intentional rather than procedural.

Allegations of Political Motives Behind Isolation

Calling the situation a “deliberate attempt to hide his condition,” Kasim accused authorities of manufacturing the information blackout to prevent the family from knowing whether Imran Khan is safe. He argued that this was not a security precaution but an effort aimed at suppressing political influence. He further issued a strong warning that the Pakistani government and those behind the continued confinement would be held accountable on legal, moral, and international grounds.

International Appeal for Urgent Intervention

Kasim ended his statement with an urgent plea addressed to the global community, human rights organisations, and pro-democracy voices worldwide. He requested immediate action to demand proof of life, enforce court-ordered access, end what he called “inhumane isolation,” and call for Khan’s release. His message has intensified calls from supporters who argue that the treatment violates human rights, constitutional protections, and prison regulations.

Imran Khan’s Sister Also Demands Answers

In a separate post, Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khanum, described his condition as “illegal isolation.” She said the family had no verified information regarding his health and safety. She expressed that the only reassurance they have is the belief that authorities would not risk harming him, given the consequences such an act could provoke. She referred to Imran Khan as the leader supported by “at least 90 percent of Pakistan,” warning that the nation would not tolerate any wrongdoing.

PTI Voices Increasing Alarm

Concerns about Imran Khan’s wellbeing have been rising steadily as senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders stated earlier this week to Reuters that they have been denied meetings for more than three weeks. PTI spokesperson Zulfikar Bukhari voiced fears regarding Khan’s health, stating that “no one has seen him since November 4.” Reports also suggested conversations about transferring Khan to a more restricted high-security facility, although prison officials have claimed he is in good health and that no such move is planned.

Background to the Crisis

Imprisoned since August 2023, Imran Khan is serving a 14-year sentence after being convicted in corruption cases, charges he claims were fabricated to eliminate him from the political landscape. His arrest sparked widespread protests and a massive crackdown on PTI leaders and supporters. Despite prison rules allowing weekly meetings, access has been repeatedly blocked—fueling growing alarm that his safety may be at risk.
