Money Pox has now become a health emergency.  It is the highest alarm it can sound. In July 2022, the first case of monkeypox was reported in India. Moreover, 2 cases were already reported in Delhi. Globally over 20000 cases of the cryptic disease have been reported in 76 countries so far. Also, in India, a person succumbed to death. Monkeypox is a communicable disease. The viral disease spreads via close contact.

July 2022 events: Ranveer Singh Dare to Bare  

Ranveer Singh went nude  for a photo shoot. As the images surfaced online, the actor broke the internet. The actor’s viral photo series for PAPER magazine featured him nude with well-groomed hair, sitting on a carpet and nonchalantly posing for the camera. The photo shoot is a tribute to ‘70s pop icon Burt Reynolds who also went nude in the 1972 shoot for Cosmopolitan magazine. Besides being one of the best actors in Bollywood today, Ranveer Singh is known for his flamboyant style and bold fashion statements.

He has also become content for memer. While Ranveer’s fans are hyped about his confidence, others have restored to hilarious memes.

Droupadi Murmu scripted history- 1st tribal Woman to become president

President-elect Droupadi Murmu took oath as the 15th President of India. She was honoured to take charge at a time when India will be completing 75 years of Independence. She added that she is the first president to be born in free India. Droupadi is the youngest person to take oath as the president of India. She made her first address after taking oath as the president. Droupadi Murmu scripted history by becoming the first tribal leader to hold the president post. She is from Odisha and has succeeded Ram Nath Kovind.

India is creating history at the Commonwealth Games. Indian athletes are performing well at the 2022 CMG in Birmingham. Several medals have already been added to the tally. Star weightlifter Mirabai Chanu went on a record-smashing spree. She got India’s first gold medal in Birmingham on July 30.

CWG 2022: Indian contingent is displaying a good show

Jeremy Lalrinnunga maintained the country’s dominance in weightlifting. He claimed the second gold medal. It pushed India to the top six on the medal table on day three. Weightlifter Achinta Sheuli lived up to his top billing. He clinched India’s third gold in the Commonwealth Games. Weightlifter Bindyarani Devi won silver in the women’s 55kg.

Indian weightlifter Sanket Sargar opened the country’s medal court. He won silver in the men’s 55kg category. P. Gururaja clinched Bronze in the men’s 61 kg weight category. Sushila Devi Likmabam secured silver in the women’s 48 kg category in Judo. The 27-year-old Shushila fought hard before losing the final.

Vijay Kumar Yadav defeated Dylan Munro in Men’s 60kg category he got India a bronze. He pounced on the mistake of his opponent and pinned him down for 10 seconds. India’s Harjinder Kaur claimed the bronze medal.

In the women’s 71 kg weightlifting competition after a dramatic climax.

With 9 medals, India would be looking to outperform South Africa for the 5th spot. The Indian contingent is displaying a good show.

July 2022 events: Sushmita Sen trolled for dating Lalit Modi

IPL founder Lalit Modi, 58, announced actress Sushmita Sen as his dating Partner. This made Shusmita the talk of the town. Also, netizens trolled her for dating Modi and called her a gold digger. Shutting the trolls, Sen posted on social media that “she digs deeper than gold”. The 46-year-old mother of two daughters, Sen was crowned Ms. Universe in 1994. She made her Bollywood debut with the 1996 film ‘Dastak’.
