People often buy sweets from market and shops. So this time let us change ourselves and celebrate this Rakshabandhan with a home made sweet – Paneer aur Petha ke pede.

Here is an amazing short-cut recipe that you will love, especially when you taste the results! only 2 minutes of cooking , mix all the ingtrerdients and shape into small balls!

Celebrate this Rakshabandhan with a home made sweet

Makes 45-50 small pedas

Ingredients

125 gm khoya- grate finely

250 gm paneer-grate finely

300 gm metha agra ka petha/ dry-grate finely

250 gm dessicated cocunut (bura nariyal)

1 tsp rose water or a few drops of rose essence

pistachips to garnish

Method

Grate the paneer and sweet Agra ka petha. Keep side.

Heat a thick bottom non-stick kadhai or pan. Reduce heat add the khoya and cook for 1-2 minutes still soft but does not change colour, remove from heat and cool slightly.

Add the grated paneer and petha to the khoya. Add 200 gm of dessicated coconut mix very well till smooth.Add yellow food colour and flavouring and mix well again.Shape small pedas. Roll in in the reserved coconut. make a small hole in the center with finger. Garnish with pistacho in the depression.Refrigerate till serving time.
