Sunny Leone revealed how she got her new name
Very few people know that earlier Sunny’s name was Karenjit Kaur Vohra. In an interview, she revealed how she got her stage name. She said that her mother was very upset when she named herself Sunny because her brother’s name was Sandeep Singh and they call him Sunny. It is known that Sunny’s birth name was Karenjit Kaur Vohra. She was born in a Sikh family, and lived in Canada with her family. When she entered the adult entertainment industry she changed her name. In the early 2000s she entered the industry.
Recently in an interview Sunny Leone said that when she was interviewed by a magazine about her work in the adult industry she was asked what she would like her name to be? Before she worked as an HR at a tax and retirement firm and has also worked as an accountant and receptionist. As she was busy doing her work she quickly told them to write Sunny.

And later she said that her mother was very angry when she chose Sunny as her name. Her mother even scolded her by saying that out of all the names that’s the only one name you picked, to which she replied, it is just what came to her mind. Also, everyone thought that Leone, the last name of her, was probably inspired by the African country SIERRA LEONE but later she told that Italian magazine owner chose Leone as her second name and she got to know about this after the magazine was published and she has kept it till date .
