Sunny admitted that he hadn’t watched the film yet but had heard about his father’s scene with Shabana. He praised his father’s versatility and mentioned that Dharmendra can carry off any role with humbleness and honesty. When asked if he had discussed the scene with his father, Sunny replied that he couldn’t talk to his dad about such things and admired Dharmendra’s ability to handle any role.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani features Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra as lost lovers who reunite after many years due to their grandchildren, played by Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, falling in love. Jaya Bachchan also stars as Dharmendra’s wife in the film.
