SIIMA Awards 2023: Stars in Pink and Black Glamour

SIIMA Awards 2023 in Dubai witnessed a dazzling red carpet with stars like Mrunal Thakur and Sreeleela in pink, while Shruti Haasan, Rana Daggubati, and Rishab opted for black ensembles.

Several prominent celebrities gathered in Dubai for the red carpet event of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) held on Friday. The star-studded event included well-known personalities like Jr NTR from “RRR,” Rana Daggubati from “Baahubali,” Rishabh Shetty from “Kantara,” and actresses Mrunal Thakur and Shruti Haasan. The awards ceremony featured both anticipated winners and some unexpected surprises.

SIIMA 2023: Men in Black

Ram Charan was absent, but Jr NTR attended SIIMA and won Best Actor (Telugu) for “RRR.” SS Rajamouli’s absence was noted, with Jr NTR and Allu Aravind receiving his Best Director (Telugu) award for “RRR” on his behalf.

Rana Daggubati appeared noticeably slender at the awards night, donning a black suit and hat. He received the Best Supporting Actor (Telugu) award for his role in “Bheemla Nayak.”

 

Rishab Shetty, in a stylish black designer bandhgala suit, graced the red carpet alongside his wife Pragathi Shetty, elegantly dressed in cream attire. Rishab received the Best Leading Actor – Critics (Kannada) award for his work in “Kantara,” a film he both starred in and directed. He was also recognized with the Special Appreciation Award for the innovative storyline of “Kantara” in the Kannada category.

Dressed in a sparkling pink gown, Mrunal Thakur attended the event and clinched the Best Actress – Critics (Telugu) award for her role in “Sita Ramam.” She also received the Best Debutant Actress award for the same film, which featured Dulquer Salmaan as the male lead and earned the Best Film (Telugu) award.

Adivi Shesh sported a white suit with a black shirt and was recognized with the Best Leading Actor – Critics (Telugu) award for his role in “Major.” Shruti Haasan, in a striking black gown, graced the red carpet and received the Fashion Youth Icon award at the ceremony for her style and influence.

Sreeleela, donning an elegant black and pink gown, secured the Best Leading Actress (Telugu) award for her role in “Dhamaka.” Lakshmi Manchu, adorned in a stunning silver saree and striking eye makeup, was among the celebrities who attended the event in style.
