First Film To Be Screened In New Theatres in Kashmir: Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan

Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan will yet again make history as it will be the first movie that will be screened at the newly opened Multipurpose Cinema Halls in Baramulla and one at Handwara. Years of militancy and unstable conditions in Kashmir had brought life to a standstill for many, but the Government is now promoting normalcy in these areas. 

In the last few years, Srinagar had seen the opening of INOX, whereas Pulwama and Shopian districts got Multipurpose Cinema Halls that are managed by a company called Jadooz.

The Multipurpose Cinema Halls have a theatre with a capacity for 100 people, a cafe as well as conference and seminar facilities.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan Was A Record Breaker 

King Khan’s Pathaan was one of the biggest movies of 2023 and broke multiple box-office records. It has also breached the Rupees 1,000-crore gross mark worldwide. Directed by  Siddharth Anand and starring SRK, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham in the lead, the movie was stellar and received a lot of positive responses.
