Pawan Singh Gets Threat Call From Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Amid Bigg Boss 19 Grand Finale

Pawan Singh Case: Bishnoi Gang Warning Triggers Police Investigation

Pawan Singh Receives Threat Calls Ahead of Bigg Boss 19 Finale

Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh reportedly received threatening phone calls and messages from individuals claiming to belong to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, warning him not to share the stage with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan during the grand finale of Bigg Boss 19.

According to media reports, the threats began shortly after Pawan Singh announced on his social media that he would perform at the finale alongside Salman Khan. The callers not only demanded a large sum of money but also warned of “serious consequences” if he went ahead with the plan.

The warnings allegedly came via multiple phone numbers, traced across regions including Bihar and Mumbai, and included both voice calls and WhatsApp messages. Members of Singh’s team — including his manager — also reportedly received similar threats.

Police Complaint and Investigation Underway

In response to the threats, Pawan Singh, through his team, filed two formal complaints with the Mumbai Police’s Anti-Extortion Cell.

A senior police officer confirmed receipt of the complaint. Investigators have begun a technical inquiry — including scrutiny of Call Detail Records (CDRs) — in an attempt to trace the origin of the calls and identify the persons behind them.

Authorities also said they are assessing the safety of Singh and his team. Meanwhile, security around his public appearances and at the Bigg Boss finale has reportedly been tightened.

Why the Alleged Gang is Involved

The alleged involvement of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang stems from their long-standing hostility toward Salman Khan. The gang has issued threats to Khan in the past, especially related to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, an issue with deep emotional and religious significance for certain communities.

Pawan Singh’s decision to share the stage with Salman Khan appears to have triggered the warning — the callers reportedly told him to avoid “working with or appearing alongside Salman,” or face dire consequences.

Despite Threats — Pawan Singh Attends the Finale

Despite the threats and subsequent security alert, Pawan Singh reportedly went ahead and attended the Bigg Boss 19 grand finale. Media sources say he performed on stage alongside Salman Khan, seemingly unfazed by the danger.

This decision has drawn attention — both to his personal courage and to the broader issue of safety for artists working under threat. The fact that Pawan Singh ignored the warnings and appeared anyway has sparked discussion about intimidation tactics and the pressure faced by public figures.

What this Means for Security, Entertainment and Public Figures

The incident raises serious concerns about the security environment for celebrities, especially when criminal gangs attempt to influence or intimidate entertainers through threats. It underscores how entertainment events — including major televised shows like Bigg Boss — can become flashpoints for criminal intimidation when they involve controversial associations.

That a known gang reportedly targeted a singer simply for agreeing to share a stage with a certain actor suggests a worrying trend in which public-life decisions — often professional — may be met with threats and coercion.

The police investigation will be closely watched; tracing the calls, identifying the perpetrators, and bringing them to justice will be important signals that threats of this nature cannot intimidate or silence artists. Further, it may lead to stricter security protocols for participants in high-profile events.

Broader Implications: Fear, Resilience, and the Fight Against Intimidation

For Pawan Singh and others in Bollywood or regional cinema, these events are more than just news headlines. They bring home the reality that acceptance of social or criminal threats is not just about personal safety — it intersects with freedom of expression and professional autonomy.

That Singh went ahead with his performance suggests resilience, but also highlights the pressure artists may feel under threat. It prompts a conversation: should performers, producers, and regulatory authorities ensure better safety, more transparent reporting, and stronger deterrence against such intimidation tactics?

The coming days — including the outcome of the police investigation and any arrest or action taken — will likely determine whether this episode ends as a warning or serves as a turning point in how threats to entertainers are treated in India.
