Chak De India
This movie is inspired by the 2002 commonwealth games, where the Indian team witnessed the iconic victory. This movie also displays the struggle of a former hockey player who was tainted as a traitor.

Border

This film gained a lot of appreciation post-release. The film is a cult classic and was considered ahead of its time. With a great storyline, it also has some iconic songs composed by A.R. Mother India is a remake of Mehboob Khan’s film Aurat. This 1957 released epic drama shows the atrocities of moneylenders on a poor widow. She struggled daily to raise her kids and keep her moral values alive.
This movie was among the most expensive Hindi cinema productions. However, the efforts were well paid, as this movie did very well at the box office. And earned the highest revenue at that time. Mother India was nominated for Best Foreign Language film at the 30th Academy Awards.

Roja
Roja was released back in 1992. It is a romantic thriller film in Tamil cinema. This film receives immense appreciation for its storyline based on patriotism.
