More Than 3 Lakhs Ticket Sold: Oppenheimer Will Be A Huge Hit!


There is no doubt that ‘Oppenheimer’ will be a huge hit. The movie has already seen a sale of 3,00,000 tickets before its release on 21st July. According to a tweet, it said that 42% of these tickets are for IMAX. 

Another movie that’s releasing on the same date is Barbie, for which 54000 tickets have been sold on BookMyShow. 

An interesting number that has also been pointed out is that around 8% have bought tickets for both Barbie and Oppenheimer, giving the ‘Barbenheimer’ a real run

One ticket for Oppenheimer sold for Rs. 2450 

The craze for the movie is so huge that apparently, people are willing to pay a high price up to Rs. 2450 excluding taxes. This is for the 3:00 AM show that is being screened in Mumbai IMAX. Tickets in the range of around Rs.1800 are almost sold out, just showing how invested and excited people are about this movie release.

Oppenheimer 

The film stars Cillian Murphy as the lead, along with Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett, Casey Affleck, Rami Malek, and Kenneth Branagh. It is based on the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the man behind the first nuclear weapon as a part of the Manhattan Project

The movie is directed by Christopher Nolan and caters to a specific set of audiences who’ve loved Nolan through the years. Nolan is known for his fantastic movie-making abilities and direction. This movie is going to be one of the biggest Nolan movies. Nolan’s last movie Tenet in 2020 had also seen a great response.
