The movie starts off slow, but within 30 minutes you will be exposed to a bunch of information that will keep you glued. This movie is different from all other movies as this time Ethan Hunt and his IMF team are not fighting against a person, but “The Entity”. The Entity is a mysterious and all-powerful Artificial Intelligence that has gone rogue. The movie has done an excellent job of keeping up with the trends and developments of the generation.

The movie has been directed by Christopher McQuarrie and also produced by him along with Tom Cruise. The movie stars Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Esai Morales, Vanessa Kirby, and Pom Klementieff.

The movie has some moments where it feels like a drag and could have been well without those parts, but in most cases, the movie does match the charm of the other movies in the series. With some fun elements in the movie, the makers have tried to give this action thriller some liveliness.

Tom Cruise’s Performance

There is no doubt that Tom Cruise is a brilliant actor and the movie proves that nothing is impossible for the 61-year-old. With clever stunts and literally flying off the mountain, the actor has no sign of his age and still looks as fresh as his first Mission: Impossible movie in 1996. If not for anything else, you must watch the movie for Tom Cruise and his stunts.

The movie does leave you hanging in limbo, as can be expected with any part one, part two of Dead Reckoning is likely to release in January 2024.

We give the movie a 3.5 out of 5!
