Neha Kakkar- a name which can be associated with the top-charting hits and a lively stage performance has recently been caught in the middle of the media frenzy on the social media. The well-known singer shared photos on her Instagram account in which she appeared in a row of a bra as an accessory on a white crop top, which is clearly an unusual style for fashion but rapidly got the back aim of most people and lead to violent trolling on the Internet.
The track pants combined with sanglasses accompanied the outfit which had a blue bra well shown layering over a plain white top. Whereas some of Neha who have been worshipping her style appreciated the look showering it with love but a major part of the online community did take this as a cheap and tasteless perception and it did not go well.

The social media was filled with comments, as expected most people showed both shock and disappointment. Expectations such as: Looks very cheap, What a cheap look it is and Lady Superman ! Many people found the humour in the joke, referring to her as a super hero who flaunts her undergarments outside, whereas some others just rejected the whole look stating that they were offering the attention-seeking look. Others were so radical as to telling her how the garment in question was an eyesore and ask her how she was a fashion dame and how she lacked that most important ingredient “ruchir chhaap” (a touch of good taste).
It is not the first time that Neha Kakkar is under scrutiny by the people regarding her sartorial dressing. Earlier, she has faced trolling when she was accused of miming wedding attires of other bollywood actors such as Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, and Anushka Sharma. These events highlight how hard it is in the era of social media as every appearance of celebrities becomes analyzed and commented on by a large and largely unforgiving fan base.
The international runways have been experiencing the bra over top pattern, and global personalities, as well, have been keen to embrace it as a trend with the intention of breaking important fashion boundaries.
