Actress Natalie Portman and choreographer husband Benjamin Millepied have ended their 11-year marriage due to his alleged involvement with Camille Etienne. Speculation of their split began on their 11th anniversary, as Natalie was spotted without her wedding ring at an Australian event.

Natalie and Benjamin’s bond:

According to US Weekly, an insider revealed that following the news of his alleged affair, Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied have been attempting to mend their marriage but are presently estranged. The couple, who have two children, a 12-year-old son Aleph and a 6-year-old daughter Amalia, faced rumors in June about Benjamin’s involvement with climate activist Camille Etienne.

Natalie reaction to affair:

Back in June, an inside source informed US Weekly that Natalie Portman perceived her husband Benjamin Millepied’s affair as a fleeting and thoughtless involvement, hoping to rebuild trust for the sake of their children. Meanwhile, another source mentioned they were actively addressing the issue together, with Benjamin remorseful for his actions.

During the same period, people cited a source stating that Benjamin’s affair was brief and now concluded, with his earnest efforts to seek Natalie’s forgiveness and maintain family unity. Natalie’s primary concern was safeguarding her children’s privacy.

Natalie and Benjamin meeting:

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied crossed paths during their involvement in the 2009 movie “Black Swan” by Darren Aronofsky. Their collaboration extended to the 2018 film “Vox Lux,” wherein Benjamin’s choreography contributed to Natalie’s portrayal of a troubled pop star.

Natalie’s upcoming project:

Natalie Portman is to feature in May December, playing an actor researching a film based on a two-decade-old scandal. In Savannah, Georgia, she interacts with Gracie Atherton-Yoo Julianne Moore, once notorious for a relationship with a middle schooler, now happily married to Charles Melton with a family. Directed by Todd Haynes, the Netflix release is scheduled for later this year.
