Blind Movie Review

The movie is a remake of the Korean movie Blind that was relased in 2011 and its Tamil remake Netrikann that was released in 2021. For those who have watched the Korean original or even the Tamil remake, the Bollywood movie would seem much like a drag or unimpressive. Directed by Shome Makhija, the movie has not really managed to hit the mark a thriller should have. The movie is pale in comparison to the original, something that the actors might also have contributed to.

With actors such as Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, Lillete Dubey, Shubham Saraf, Lucy Aarden and Javed Khan- who all are talented to say the least, they have not managed to make the movie an exciting watch.

Sonam Kapoor’s Performance Was Decent

Sonam Kapoor in her comeback role has just managed to be decent. Her role was pivotal, but her acting was not. There could have been a lot more when it comes to being the lead in such a well-written original, but with a mediocre script and direction, this was the best that could be delivered.

But, if you are looking to pass the rainy weekend with nothing else to do, you can watch Blind. Do let us know what you think about the movie!
