One remarkable moment occurred during the Miss Universe beauty pageant at the Jose Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador when Miss Nicaragua, Sheynnis Palacio emerged as the winner of the Miss Universe 2023. The crown was given to Palacios by the reigning Miss USA of the year 2022, who is now a Miss Universe in 2023. Clad in a crystal-encrusted gown borrowing the colours of the flags of Nicaragua and representing it as the first country to produce Mrs World ever, the 23-year-old beauty crowned as Mrs World. Nicaragua had previously found itself among the winner’s circle and top five finalists for the very first time with this particular achievement.
A Fashionable Tribute to Roots
The blue and white radiant winning gown of Sheynnis Palacios reflected both her Nicaraguan origin and El Salvador as the host country. Her dress was shimmering silver with long-sleeve crystals that created a bright showiness across her chest, arms and stomach. To complete the ensemble, a blue flowing cape added a vibrant touch of colour and style.
