Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Kapoor reacts to the movie Barbie. Find out what she had to say about it.
On Tuesday, Mira shared a picture from the theatre, which had Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling from the film Barbie. She wrote along with it, “Hollywood this, Hollywood that… properly Hollywood can not do song-and-dance like Bollywood can!”
She was referring to a track and dance number from the movie, picturised on the majority of the cast from the movie Barbie. The tune that played out was Dua Lipa’s Dance The Night Time.
Barbie stars Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, along with stars that include names like the United States Ferrera, Simu Liu, Dua Lipa, Emerald Fennell, Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera and Will Ferrell. The movie explores, “After being expelled from the utopian Barbie Land for being less-than-ideal dolls, Barbie and Ken move on an adventure of self-discovery to the real world.”

The simultaneous release of Barbie and Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer have garnered an international fashion named Barbenheimer as each of the movies strive to make a record on the box-office. In India, Oppenheimer has fared much better than Barbie, despite the fact that at the USA box- office, Barbie has outperformed Oppenheimer.
