Well, many television actresses dream of getting a break in Hindi films. While some are willing not to make a shift to Bollywood. From Jennifer Winget to Hina Khan, there are a  few TV divas who should go to Bollywood ASAP.

No doubt, there is a huge difference between the pay scale and working schedule of the TV industry and the Hindi film industry. Some TV actresses like Mouni Roy played lead roles in Bollywood films while some appeared in supporting roles. Many TV  actresses are equally popular as any Bollywood actress. Hina Khan began her acting career with the hit television serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She quit the show after 8 years as she did not want to play an aged character and wanted to experiment. Soon, she entered the Bigg Boss house and was lauded for her dress sense by fans.

In an interview, Hina candidly spoke about prevailing nepotism in Bollywood. She felt that TV actresses do not get a fair chance to try their luck in films. Hina also walked in Cannes Film Festival for her feature film, Lines.

Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya

Divyanka Tripathi made her debut with ZEE Teen Queen in 2003. She was already a household name but got immense popularity after playing Ishita in Yeh Hai Mahobatain. After Khataron Ke Khiladi, she told PTI, “I want to expand my horizons and will not take Bahu-type role consciously now.”

She also said that films were offered to her in the past but at that time she was already committed to a Tv show. “I am not chasing glamour only. A role should be worthy enough of taking a risk”, said the YHM actress.

Bepannah Actress Jenifer Winget had featured as a child actress in many films like Kuch and Kaho and Akele hum and Akele Tum. As an adult, she was liked a lot in the TV serial Dil Mil Gaye.  In her previous interviews, Jennifer said that it is not ‘very’ important for her to act in Bollywood. This beautiful actress was also in news for her failed marriage with Karan Singh Grover.  No doubt Winget is an excellent choice for Bollywood filmmakers.

Surbhi Chandna

Surbhi ruled the small screen with her cheerful and bubbly girl as Anika in Ishqbaaz. On Twitter, one of her fans wished to see her sharing the screen with Kartik Aaryan. And we can’t agree more with them. In response to the tweet, Surbhi also expressed her feelings saying, “Wow that will be hot”.

Nia Sharma

With 6.3 million followers on Instagram, Nia Sharma’s popularity is no less than any Bollywood actress. This diva gets entangled with trollers for her lifestyle and bold Avtar. But that never stops her from living like a boss lady.

She keeps treating fans with her sizzling hot pics and photoshoots. In 2020, she was the second most desirable woman on TV. In the year 2017, she signed a web series Twisted which was successful on OTT. As per India today, Vikram Bhatt is planning to make Twisted 2 and Nia will be his first choice.
