Roohi Delhi Promotions: Janhvi Kapoor & Varun Sharma are all geared up for its release, urged audiences to watch the film in theatres

Roohi Delhi Promotions: After a year, finally, films will have theatrical releases. The first film to be released in theatres will be Roohi starring Rajkumar Rao, Varun Sharma and Janhvi Kapoor. The film is slated to release on March 11^th. Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma are leaving no stone unturned in promoting the film. The duo was recently in Delhi to promote their film. Janhvi was looking ethereal as always in a sheer yellow saree, while Varun was looking all geared up Roohi’a release. After a year full of uncertainties and digital interviews, it was the first ground event for both media and the celebrities.

The duo was in PVR Plaza, Connaught Place, Delhi. They performed live on Roohi’s popular track Nadiya Paar which is currently ruling the list of chartbusters. In fact, Journo friends were also invited to learn the hookup step from Janhvi. If you haven’t watched the song yet, take a look here:

It was a liberating Experience for Janhvi Kapoor

Varun and Janhvi both candidly addressed the media and shared their experience working in horror-comedy Roohi. “It was a very liberating experience for me as an actor. I was not worried about my make up or look, my only job was to look scary. Overall, it was an amazing experience. As an actor it is important for all of us to work in different genres,” said Janhvi Kapoor

Taking the conversation ahead Varun said, “It is such a refreshing experience to come back to theatres. We were actually waiting for this moment. Our film releasing and it is getting a theatrical release, I request people to go and watch it. Take your friends or family along, but do not forget to take the necessary precautions. Roohi will scare you and will make you laugh hard at the same time. Get ready for a roller coaster ride.”

Janhvi’s breathtaking look for Promotion

Janhvi Kapoor is known for her style and the way she pulls herself. Every time she steps out for movie promotion, she never fails to surprise us. She looked ethereal in a sheer yellow saree. She left her mane open ad styled her locks in soft waves. The highlight of the look remained her sequined bralette. To complete the look, she opted for a nude lipstick, well –defined eyebrows and chandelier earrings. During her Mumbai promotions, she was seen wearing a pink backless top. She looked stunning and we must say her look book for movie promotions give us major fashion goals. Notably, she will celebrate her 24^th birthday on March 6^th. Recently, during an interview, Janhvi said, “I will not be counting the year 2020 in my age and I have decided to cancel 2020 from my life.” Speaking about it further she said, “I will be working on my birthday this year. Papa might join me on sets for the celebrations. I love celebrating my birthday on sets.”

Roohi is directed by Hardik Mehta. The trailer of the film is looking promising and after a huge success of Stree, makers are expecting Roohi to be another blockbuster. Varun Sharma and Rajkumar Rao have collaborated for the second time. The duo earlier worked together in Dolly Ki Dolli. We all are aware of Rajkumar and Varun’s comic timings. Janhvi pairing up with Rajkumar is just refreshing.

On the work front, it is Janhvi Kapoor’s third film. She made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, then she was seen as Gunjan Saxena. Janhvi was praised by critics as she gave a powerful performance in Gunjan Saxena. Now, it will be interesting to watch her in an entirely different genre.
