Full SIIMA 2025 Winners List: Prithviraj, Sai Pallavi, Allu Arjun, Trisha and Sivakumar Shine at South Indian Cinema’s Biggest Celebration

The dazzling world of South Indian cinema came alive in Dubai as the Full SIIMA 2025 Winners List was revealed at the South Indian International Movie Awards. The two-day event not only recognised cinematic excellence but also brought forth emotional tributes and career milestones that had the entire industry cheering. The celebration was marked by glamour, heartfelt speeches, and landmark victories across Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada cinema.

One of the most touching moments of the evening came when veteran actor Sivakumar was honoured with the Exemplary Achievement Award for his unparalleled contribution to Indian cinema. His decades of artistry earned him a thunderous applause. Equally emotional was the special tribute to actress Trisha, who completed an illustrious 25 years in the film industry, receiving a standing ovation for her enduring journey.

The Tamil film industry shined brightly, with Amaran sweeping the top honours. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, the film bagged Best Film and Best Director, while the versatile Sai Pallavi was crowned Best Actress for her powerful performance. Music played a key role in Amaran’s success, and GV Prakash Kumar added another feather to his cap by winning Best Music Director. Haricharan’s soulful rendition of “Hey Minnale” earned him the title of Best Playback Singer (Male), proving the film’s musical dominance. Another Tamil highlight was Maharaja, which saw Anurag Kashyap bag Best Actor in a Negative Role and director Nithilan Saminathan win the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Director. Rising stars like Harish Kalyan and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy were also celebrated, marking the arrival of fresh talent in the industry.

In the Malayalam category, the cinematic brilliance of The Goat Life (Aadujeevitham) and ARM dominated. Prithviraj Sukumaran’s phenomenal performance in The Goat Life fetched him the Best Actor (Male) award, while director Blessy was recognised with Best Director. Veteran actress Urvashi added yet another accolade to her career, winning Best Actress (Female) for her outstanding role in Ullozhukku. Music stood tall in Malayalam cinema too, with Dhibu Ninan Thomas winning Best Music Director (ARM) and playback awards going to K. S. Harisankar and Vaikom Vijayalakshmi. The Malayalam segment also paid attention to fresh voices, with KR Gokul and Neha Nazneen receiving the debut acting awards and Joju George winning Best Debutant Director for Pani.

The Telugu and Kannada film industries had their moment in the spotlight as well. Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna bagged the top acting honours in the Telugu section, while the futuristic epic Kalki 2898 AD picked up major wins across technical and performance categories. Kannada cinema’s Gowri emerged as a strong performer, ensuring the industry’s impact was felt at SIIMA 2025.
