Jackky Bhagnani’s Teasing of Farah Khan
Farah joked with her cook Dilip Humko bhi producer banna hai! (I also want to become a producer) in an open exchange during her most recent cooking vlog. In response Jackky swiftly corrected her saying Producer nahi ban na real estate (Dont become a producer do real estate).
With her usual sense of humor Farah answered without missing a beat. Sorry haan humko producer nahi ban na hai hum real estate karna hai kyunki pehle inke 10 floor the producer banne ke baad sirf 5 bache hai! (Sorry yes we don’t have to become producers but try real estate because earlier they had 10 floors but after becoming a producer they only have 5) Farah said.
Everyone in the room laughed at her joke including Jackky, his wife actress Rakul Preet Singh and Dilip Farah’s cook.
Jackky Reflects on His Father’s Journey
In his subsequent vlog Jackky reflected on the struggles and tenacity of his father-producer Vashu Bhagnani while talking about the poor reception of his most recent production 2024s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
The 2002 movie Om Jai Jagadish which featured Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and Fardeen Khan in the lead roles was one of the many failures according to Jackky whose father used to sell saris on the sidewalk. But he has witnessed his father starting over numerous times because to him the show must continue.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Aftermath
Bollywood Hungama reported that Vashu Bhagnani’s production company in Mumbai sold its seven-story office to help pay off a growing debt of ₹250 crore. The action was taken in response to Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, a high-budget action movie that cost ₹350 crore and failed at the box office. Big names like Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Prithviraj Sukumaran starred in the movie but it failed to attract viewers and only made ₹111.5 crore worldwide, far less than its projected total.
The Bhagnani family had to sell their seven-story Mumbai office building in order to help pay off a debt of about Rs 250 crore according to several media reports.
Resilience of Vashu Bhagnani
During the same vlog Jackky also talked about how his father producer Vashu Bhagnani has had a lot of setbacks in his career but has always overcome them. He used to sell saris on the sidewalk but he’s witnessed a lot of failure. He always gets started. The show must continue for him, Jackky said.
