Famous in the comedy world as Gajodhar Bhaiya, Raju Srivastava is no more. He died in Delhi at age 58 after spending more than a month in the Delhi AIIMS hospital. He suffered a heart attack after complaining of sudden chest pain while exercising on the treadmill.

Raju was born on December 25, 1963. Since the late 1980s, he has been active in the entertainment industry. Still, He received significant recognition after participating in the first season of “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” in 2005. Later, he worked in many films and was a Bigg Boss 3 contestant.

He is survived by his wife Shikha and their 2 children.

Entertainment update: Biopic on Ranu Mondal soon to be released!

After a video of her singing “Ek Pyar ka nagma Hai” at a West Bengal train station went viral, Ranu Mondal became an overnight star. Now, the first look at her biopic is out. Yes, she has motivated others to such an extent that a biopic about her life has been made. The title of her biopic is Ek Pyar ka, Nagma Hai. Sacred Games fame Eshika Dey will portray Ranu Mondal. The actor disclosed that she had to lose 10 kg in two months for the biopic. The film was directed by Hrishikesh Mondal. However, Himesh Reshammiya has not yet confirmed that he’ll be in the movie.

Hollywood update: This Emmy award is a surprise for all!

The Emmy Awards were held in Los Angeles, the highest honour in television. It was historic for South Korean entertainment as Squid Games bagged awards. While many expected names like Zendaya and Jason Sudeikis to make a comeback. There were quite a few surprises too. During the ceremony, ‘Ted Lasso’ won the best comedy series for the second year. ‘The White Lotus’ took the top limited series. ‘Succession’ grabbed the night’s highest honour with an outstanding drama series.

Netflix’s ‘Squid Game’ star Lee Jung-Jae, became the 1st Asian actor to ever win lead actor in a drama series. Hwang Dong-hyuk also became the first Asian director to win big ‘Euphoria’ star Zendaya became the 1st Black woman to win lead actress in a drama series. She is also the youngest 2-time winner of any Emmy in history. Lizzo won the competition program award for Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.

The Emmys are voted for by over 250 members of the US Television Academy. It represents those in front of and behind the cameras.

Bollywood update: Anand-Sonam named their son Vayu

Businessman Anand Ahuja and Bollywood Actress Sonam Kapoor share the first glimpse of their son while revealing the name of little one ‘Vayu Kapoor Ahuja’

On his one-month birthday, the new parents revealed the name of their son and explained the meaning behind his name. Sharing on Instagram handles, both wrote, “In the spirit of the force that has breathed new meaning into our lives. In the spirit of Bheem and Hanuman, who embody immense courage and strength. In the spirit of all that is sacred, life-giving and eternally ours, we seek blessings for our son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja.”
