After Oscars nominations and Golden Globes, RRR and Jr NTR & Ram Charan bagged three nominations at Critics Choice Awards.
RRR is breaking new records and bagging new titles. SS Rajamouli’s film secured not one or two, in fact, three nominations at Critics Choice Awards. RRR and Jr NTR-Ram Charan have been nominated for Best Action Movie and Best Actor categories.
Well, the battle to bag the prestigious award will be challenging. The lead actors, Ram Charan and Jr NTR compete with Hollywood heroes like Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, and Nicholas Cage for Best Actor. RRR is nominated along with Top Gun: Maverick, The Bullet Train, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent and The Woman King.

Ram Charan on ‘Good Morning America’ season 3
While RRR is busy adding golden features to its cap, the film’s cast is pacing to achieve new heights. Ram Charan became the first Indian to grace ‘Good Morning America’ Season 3. The Zanjeer actor spoke about his blockbuster movie RRR. He said, “I think it is one of the finest writings of my director SS Rajamouli. He is known as the Steven Spielberg of India. I hope he makes his way to the global cinema very soon”.
In January 2023, the team won the Best Original Song award at the Golden Globes. At the event, Ram acclaimed the Golden Globes award for the song Naatu Naatu and dedicated it to Indian cinema and technicians.
“This is the first time the Golden Globes, Academy Awards, and multiple other critics awards have recognised us. It is not just RRR; it is the Indian Cinema and Indian technicians who are being honoured. Just when we thought we had achieved everything and it was time to move on to the next film, West just showed up and showed us that it’s just the beginning,” he exclaimed.
RRR managed to get nominated at Oscar 2023 for the song Naatu Naatu. For the Oscars, the entire RRR team will be in the US. While Ram Charan is in New York, music director MM Keeravaani is already there with lyricist Chandra Bose. Jr NTR and SS Rajamouli will jet off very soon with their families. The Oscars 2023 Event is set to air on March 12.
