We always have this notion that celebrities are fancy people who would never step out of their luxurious cars and fancy homes to live like the normal public. But, time and again, celebrities have broken this stereotype and taken public transport- it could be for a promotion or practical reasons. But here are some celebrities using public transport-

Hema Malini
Very recently, Hema Malini was in the news because she took a metro to reach Dahisar. She said in a tweet, “Drove 2 hours to reach Dahisar by car, so tiring! In the eve decided I would try the metro, and OMG! What a joy it was! True, we went thro tough times during the constr, but worth it! Clean, fast & ws in Juhu in 1/2 hr.”
After my metro experience, decided to go by auto from DN Nagar to Juhu & that too was fulfilled. Landed by auto at my house & the dazed security could not believe their eyes! All in all, a wonderful, pleasurable experience for me!

She praised the metro and how she covered a two hour journey in 30 mins because of the amazing public transport.

She later tweeted about her ride in the auto as well.
2. Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi
To promote their film, Selfie, Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi joined the public in the metro and also danced with them. This got the fans very excited because who wouldn’t want to travel with their favorite stars?

4. Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Anil Kapoor

Promotions are obviously hectic for the actors as they have to rush from one place to another constantly. So, the cast of Jug Jug Jeeyo decided to combat this by traveling on the metro and beating the traffic, and saving time.

5. Tiger Shroff
During a movie shooting, Tiger Shroff had reportedly used the local train to get to his shooting location on time.
6. Nawazuddin Siddiqui
Though the mask made it difficult to recognise him, Siddiqui had once taken the train to reach an event on time.
7. Amitabh Bachchan

The superstar had also boarded the local train once so that he could support Saurabh Nimbkar who sings in local trains to support cancer patients. Saurabh had come on the show Aaj Ki Raat Zindagi, which Bachchan hosted.
